The Arizona Goldback series draws from the Grand Canyon State's desert landscapes, Native American roots, and frontier legacy. Each Arizona Goldback contains real gold physically embedded into the note using a patented vacuum deposition process. The denomination determines gold content — from 1/4000th of a troy ounce in the ½ Goldback to 1/10th of a troy ounce in the 100 Goldback. Every note is hand-drawn by American artists and built to exacting standards.
