Florida Goldbacks

The Florida Goldback series celebrates the Sunshine State through nine denominations of 24k gold. Each note features artwork drawn from Florida's coastlines, ecosystems, and history — resilience, vitality, natural abundance, and the pioneering spirit that has defined Florida from the Seminole nation through the Space Age.

Each Florida Goldback contains real gold physically embedded into the note using a patented vacuum deposition process. Gold content scales with the denomination: the ½ Goldback holds 1/2000th of a troy ounce; the 100 Goldback holds 1/10th. Every Florida Goldback is hand-drawn by American artists and produced to exacting standards.

Florida is one of the fastest-growing Goldback markets in the country. With no state income tax and a culture that values financial independence, Florida residents and merchants have embraced Goldbacks as a practical alternative to fiat currency. We carry the Florida series in nine denominations, from the ¼ to the 100, one of the most complete sets in the program.

How do I verify a Florida Goldback?

The Florida series launched in 2025, so every note carries UV-reactive ink on the reverse. Under a 365 nm UV light, the denomination and Goldback logo glow. Every Goldback also has microprinting, raised imagery on the back and a unique serial number. Our guide on how to verify your Goldbacks walks through each check.
