Idaho joins the Goldback program as the 9th state — and brings something no other series has: the ¼ Goldback denomination. Nine denominations. Nine virtues. Nine chapters of a state that punches above its weight: the birthplace of television, home to the world's first nuclear-powered city, and one of the most spectacular landscapes in North America.

Each Idaho Goldback contains .9999 fine 24k gold, vacuum-deposited using a patented process. The Idaho series runs from the ¼ Goldback (1/4000th of a troy ounce) through the 100 Goldback (1/10th of a troy ounce) — the widest denomination range in the program. Artwork by Paul Pederson, developed in collaboration with Idaho's state leadership, honors the Gem State's identity across all nine notes.
