How to Buy Goldbacks Online: A Step-by-Step Guide

GoldATM carries verified Goldbacks across every denomination and state series. This guide walks through the full purchase process, how denominations work, and what to expect when your order arrives.

Where to Buy Goldbacks Online

GoldATM operates a dedicated Goldback store at shop.goldatm.com. The store carries the full lineup of available state series and denominations. No account required to browse. Pricing reflects the live gold market and displays in real time on the utility bar at the top of the shop.

Understanding Denominations Before You Buy

Goldbacks come in nine denominations, each containing a proportional amount of .9999 fine 24-karat gold:

Denomination Gold Content Approx. Entry Price
¼ Goldback 1/4000 troy oz Idaho only
½ Goldback 1/2000 troy oz ~$5
1 Goldback 1/1000 troy oz ~$10
2 Goldback 1/500 troy oz ~$20
5 Goldback 1/200 troy oz ~$48
10 Goldback 1/100 troy oz ~$96
25 Goldback 1/40 troy oz ~$241
50 Goldback 1/20 troy oz ~$482
100 Goldback 1/10 troy oz ~$964

Prices update daily. Check the utility bar at shop.goldatm.com for today's live rate before placing your order.

Not all denominations are available in every state series. The ¼ Goldback is exclusive to Idaho. The 2 Goldback is available in Florida, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Idaho. Denominations from 1 to 50 are available across all series; the 100 is available in select series.

How to Buy: Step by Step

Step 1: Browse by state series or denomination. The shop organizes inventory two ways. Browse by state (Idaho, Utah, Florida, Oklahoma, Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wyoming, South Dakota) or browse all available notes by denomination. Both paths lead to the same product pages.

Step 2: Select your note. Each product page shows the denomination, the state series, the artwork, current pricing, and inventory status. Pricing reflects the live gold market and updates daily.

Step 3: Choose quantity. Single notes and multi-note bundles are both available. Bundles offer a straightforward way to hold more gold or build out a denomination set without placing multiple separate orders.

Step 4: Add to cart and check out. No account required for a first purchase. Enter your shipping details, select a shipping method, and complete payment.

Step 5: Receive your order. GoldATM ships verified Goldbacks directly to your address in secure packaging. Each note ships in a protective sleeve to preserve condition.

What Arrives in the Box

Each Goldback arrives in a protective sleeve that allows handling without direct contact. The note is the product. No filler, no excess packaging.

  • The Goldback note in the denomination and state series you ordered
  • A protective sleeve with each note
  • Bundles ship as a complete set in one order

GoldATM verifies every Goldback for purity and weight before it ships. Every note meets the same standard: .9999 fine 24-karat gold.

For longer-term storage or display, the Goldback PVC Bill Holder fits all denominations. Crystal-clear PVC lets you view the gold and artwork without removing the note from its sleeve.

First-Time Buyer: What to Know

Goldbacks price in real time. The utility bar displays the live gold price. Each product page shows the current price for that denomination. Check both before you order.

Smaller denominations are a practical starting point. The ½ or 1 Goldback lets a first-time buyer hold verified physical gold at a lower entry point than most coins or bars require. The ¼ Goldback (Idaho series only) is the most accessible denomination ever produced.

State series vary in availability. Some series and denominations sell through faster than others. Limited Early Release (LER) editions ship in limited quantities at launch. Once the initial run sells, they do not restock with the LER designation.

Goldbacks are physical gold. They ship to your address, arrive in hand, and store like any other physical asset. There is no digital component. What you buy is what you hold.

No Minimums. Order What You Want.

GoldATM sells Goldbacks with no minimum order. One note. One denomination. One state. Pick what you want, check the live gold price, and order. Pricing updates daily to reflect the current gold market.
