Introducing the groundbreaking Goldback: the world's premier voluntary currency crafted from exquisite, spendable, small denomination physical gold.

With the passage of the Utah Legal Tender Act in 2011, gold regained its status as an official form of money, marking a historic milestone in financial recognition.

Since then, advancements in gold minting technology have revolutionized the creation of small denomination gold currency. Utilizing cutting-edge vacuum deposition technology, each Goldback bill is meticulously layered with .9999 fine gold, ensuring both beauty and durability.

This series marks a pioneering change in border design, enhancing accessibility and clarity for users. The denomination now resides at the bottom border, with a smaller notation in the bottom right corner, streamlining the user experience.

About the Design - Gratia

In her debut appearance on a Goldback series, Gratia, or Grace, graces the New Hampshire 1 Goldback Denomination.

Portrayed as an Abenaki Native American woman, representing the Algonquin tribes with a rich history in the region, Gratia stands adorned in traditional attire against the backdrop of an Abenaki wigwam. Accompanied by a river otter symbolizing resourcefulness and finding joy in life's moments, Gratia embodies the essence of grace and balance.

Symbolism abounds in this design, reflecting elements of both Jewish and Christian cultures. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish Festival of Trumpets, and Thanksgiving are intertwined, evident in the Shofar trumpet, pumpkins, corn, beans, chestnuts, and honeycomb depicted. Gratia, gathering chestnuts with contemplation, bears the caption "Give Thanks," a reminder of the blessings earned through labor and gratitude.

The inclusion of Thanksgiving Day pays homage to Sarah Joseph, a native New Hampshire resident instrumental in establishing the holiday. Meanwhile, the background showcases ancient artifacts and the "American Stonehenge," underscoring the area's rich cultural heritage.

Experience the grace and beauty of Gratia with Goldbacks—an embodiment of timeless values and cultural richness, now within your reach.
